Covid-19 Policies

      Character Pros is licenced in the State of Georgia. We must follow all Covid-19           Restrictions imposed on our industry by the State. This includes the                             requirement that all employees and contractors of Character Pros must wear a           face covering at al times when performing indoors or in close quarters of less             than 6 feet. Our face/body painters will be sanitizing each brush after use, using         only on sponge per person and not double dipping into paint. Please feel free           to contact us with any questions.

 Booking a Party

We recommend booking your event as far in advance as possible. Your date and character are not guaranteed until your retainer has been received.

 

Final Balance

Any remaining balance is due on our arrival to event. You may pay from the original link sent or to the hostess via credit card or cash only. We do not accept checks.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

Retainers/Deposits are non-refundable. Changes and cancellations are permitted at no additional charge by calling 912-200-7004 or by emailing at least 24 hours prior to the event. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event will result in a forfeiture all monies paid. At the time of cancellation/change, funds will be held by Character Pros for up to one year from the original payment date to be applied toward a future booking. All changes are subject to character availability at the time of re-booking. 

We reserve the right to substitute a character or cancel any appearance due to serious injury or contagious illness of the performer or the performer’s family. In this extreme situation, the event coordinator will be contacted as soon as conditions are known to decide on a path forward.

 

Character Arrivals

Your character will arrive right at the time the event is booked. We try not to arrive early so that all guests will be at the event before the character makes their appearance. We take pride in punctuality! If for some unforeseeable reason our character is late due to circumstances beyond their control, the character will stay the extended time to compensate their tardiness.

 

Safety/Guest Behavior

A supervising adult must remain with the children at all times. We are entertainers. We are not disciplinarians, childcare providers, or subordinates. We reserve the right to leave any event with full payment if we feel threatened or are being mistreated in any way by hosts, guests, or children.  

 

Severe Weather - Outside Parties

For the welfare of our performers and the protection of our costumes/wigs props etc., we do not performer outdoors in temperatures over 85 or under 55 degrees. If your event date calls for inclement weather, please have an alternative indoor location available. 

 

Photos

Photos may be taken by our party host/hostess during the event for promotional purposes. These photos will be made available for you at no additional charge on our Facebook page the week following your event. All photographs taken at the event may be used for any future advertising or marketing material for Character Pros without further consent. 

 

Party Activities

All our private parties are based on 10 participants including the birthday child. If there are more than 10 children participating, there will be an additional charge of $10 per child billed. 

 

Other Entertainment

If you plan to have pools, water slides, bounce houses or other forms of entertainment at your event we request that the participants be dry and available on our arrival. This helps to ensure that every moment we are at your event is well spent on entertaining, socializing, and making memories with your guests.

 

Due to restrictions by our insurance company, we are not able to work alongside other character entertainers not insured by our company. If another character entertainment company, or anyone in costume posing as a character will be attending your event, we will not be able to enter the premises.

 

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in any of our package prices. If you are pleased with your performer experience, feel free to tip them. Please do so by approaching the host/hostess accompanying the performer(s). The tip will be divided equally between all performers in attendance at the event.

 

 

It is understood that the party of each confirmed booking has read and agrees upon all information contained in all pages of our website and these terms and conditions. Every booked appearance will be bound by these terms
